Sportas is a social platform that helps adults across the UK play the sports they love (& even try new sports) with others at a location, date & time that suits them
Is Sportas just for Men?
Nope, all genders are welcome on our platform!
How old/young do you have to be?
Sportas is for individuals aged 18 & over!
I’m not very good at sports is this for me?
Absolutely yes! You don’t need to have any experience in playing any of the sports you choose to play. We would however encourage you to familiarise yourself with the rules before attending a game. We’ll also give you the ability to play by skill level, so you get to play with people on a similar level to you, whether that be novices or experts.
I’m not very fit, so I’m worried I won’t be able to keep up?
Don’t worry about it, all our sessions are chill & welcoming, we all need to start somewhere to get back to full fitness!
I’m scared to come on my own, what if everyone already knows each other?
70% of our users come on their own without knowing anyone, so you’ll be with good company. But you might just leave with a few friends
Can I try a new sport?
You definitely can! We’ll also provide you with the rules of the new sport to familiarise yourself with it before attending.
How much will a game cost?
The game prices will vary depending on the venue.
What happens if there aren’t enough players for the game I’ve signed up?
We strive to fill all our games, so this is rarely an occurrence. But if this does occur, we will inform you on the day of the game and issue a full refund to you.
Can me & my friends play as a group or organise our own games?
Yep, we know you’ll sometimes want to play with some familiar faces so you’ll also be able to organise your own game via Sportas which you can invite others to join!
I am looking for some players to fill some slots for my game, can I use Sportas for this?
Yes, you can, drop us an email and we will set your game up on our website
Do I need equipment?
We’ll provide all equipment for most games, all you’ll need to do is bring yourself & some sports clothing! But if you would like to bring your own equipment we welcome it :)
What is the refund policy?
If you cancel up to 48 hours before the game, you are entitled to a full 100% refund. If you drop out 48 hours within the game no refund is provided.
What do I do if I can no longer make it?
If you can no longer make it, please cancel your slot. You can do this by visiting 'My games' in the navigation bar, clicking into the booking and hit the 'Cancel participation' button.
